Fixing the Obamacare website by “throwing bodies at the problem”: I have seen this approach fail 999 out of 999 attempts. They going to draft the “best and the brightest”; these people will demand top dollar and the government has already spent 395 million dollars on the program. Most of these software experts have egos the size of Montana and they won’t agree on much. This means many long, long meetings where nothing will be resolved except the need for more long, long meetings. Those not on the top of the pyramid with ideas that might move the project along won’t speak up for fear of losing their jobs. This program is DOOMED. Scuttle what they have and start over. Then maybe the site will be ready in 1.5 to 2.0 years if everybody and everything behave themselves. Otherwise… there is no otherwise.
